2024 Spring Meeting

The WFCA spring meeting was held on Saturday, April 27 in Madison at Vel Phillips Memorial High School with a virtual attendance option.

AGENDA

Election of Officers:

Elections were held for president-elect (3-year series) and treasurer (2-year term).

Congratulations to new officers Andie Peterson-Longmore from Neenah as President-Elect and Mike Wagner from Oshkosh North as Treasurer.

Our thanks and appreciation are given to outgoing officers Jon Balcerak as Past-President and Shelly Uttke as Treasurer.

2024-25 Calendar:

The draft version of the calendar was be discussed at the spring meeting and confirmed with a vote at the fall meeting.

As a heads up, there are five Saturdays in March in 2025. As we have done in the past, schools who want to host on the fifth Saturday in March will not have legacy rights to that weekend, because it will not exist in future calendars. Should a school wish to host on the fifth Saturday (March 29, 2025), they could host for this one year, retaining their original legacy date for future years. No tournament claimed the 5th weekend, but that is still an option if a tournament has a conflict with the original date and needs to find an alternative.
